From the Pastor,            “Onward & Upward 2015

“The Lord is my Rock, and my Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my Strength; in whom I will trust” Psalm 18:2

It seems that we are often confronted with unexpected news, that can possibly turn our world upside down.  It can cause us to question “why me” or “why that person”.  But God is not taken by surprise, for He knows all things.  When unexpected news comes we must first and foremost trust God.  No matter what news we receive, no matter what we must face, no matter the storm we must go through; in Christ alone is where one can find stability (Rock), shelter & comfort (Fortress), healing & recovery (Deliverer), encouragement & strength (Strength).  Understand that in unexpected news, is the time where we grow in our FAITH, BELIEF, and TRUST in Christ alone!

 Love ya Campfield!                  Pastor Scott

CHRISTMAS???  IN AUGUST???

Preparations have begun for one of the most special seasons of the church year.  On August 15th, the adult choir will begin preparing a cantata titled “Christ has Come”, a celebration of Christ’s birth, and a proclamation of his majesty.  If you are an “inactive” choir member, or if you feel that God is leading you to join us in music ministry, this is a great time to become an active choir member.

Hello Church Its the last few weeks of summer break, and weather in makes you happy or sad, its just a a little while longer til school is back in session. I want to thank all my parents for getting their students to all our summer activities. Students, props to you for making God's house an integral part of your vacation.  My first official summer as student pastor has really been a growing experience.   As we return to the books, I encourage all my teens "Trust in the Lord and do good", Psalm 37:3. A simple verse to guide your way. We love ya younguns!
